ETHAN MINSKER
Ethan Minsker is a New York–based artist, writer, and filmmaker with roots in the East Village’s punk art scene. As a founding member of the Antagonist Art Movement, my work has always centered on community collaboration and creative accessibility.
His current practice focuses on papier-mâché sculptures made from recycled materials—an effort to keep waste out of landfills and show how artists can transform discarded materials into something meaningful and beautiful. This process isn’t only about sustainability; it’s about developing a mindset that values creativity without harm—avoiding toxic materials like plastics and oil paints while encouraging others to rethink what art can be made from.
