We offer a bright and welcoming space where consumers can find unique products and gifts and a platform for talented hobbyists, full time makers and more established indie brands to reach new audiences.

From greeting cards and candles to a full range of functional ceramics (and so much more), our shop has something for everyone - even the folks that have everything. Offering joy and a bit of wonderment in every nook and corner.

Our shop is unique in that we exclusively work with makers who reside and create in our home state of New York. A combination of something we love (the arts) and something we need (meaningful connection with others), we've made it our mission to provide emerging brands and indie makers with a space to always sell from while making it easier for consumers to discover their unique, handmade products.

We consider the act of giving back to the communities that have given us the opportunity and resources to thrive, a vital part of our business model. Over the years, we are proud to have diverted a percentage of our sales to NAMI, Loveland Foundation Therapy Fund, Brooklyn Community Pride Center, Black Art Futures Fund, Center For Reproductive Rights, The Food Bank For New York City -- and the list keeps growing!

We've built a transparent and equitable platform that encourages makers of all ethnicities and identities to flourish. We seek to create space for others to level up, be heard and connect with like-minded individuals doing big and bold things in this world. By leaning into our individual super powers, it's our mission to inspire fellow business owners and creatives to revel in the power of the collective - to actively share knowledge and resources in order for our communities to rise together and create from a place of abundance.

The WonderMart is owned and curated by New York native, Perri Salka.

The WonderMart is the physical expression of the things I love most in this world. Being a shop owner is more than just a job, its truly my passion and purpose in this lifetime. Having been a part of the arts community in New York for nearly 20 years, I find great joy in introducing others to the immense talent living right under our noses.

The WonderMart is truly a celebration of all things handmade. Many items I choose for my shop are one-of-one. I revel in the opportunity to share background knowledge of a particular item or its maker as you shop. There's even a map on our back wall that showcases where each brand is located across New York State.
